DUSK TIL DAWN
for our first issue, we want the hazy. the dreamy. the in-love. the surreal. the free. the dissociated, the i-don't-know-what-to-feel. the paranoid. the chaotic, i'm-losing-my-mind, the bright and blazing--anything that you've experienced as the sun has gone down, come up, or that has kept you up at night.

FOR WRITERS: EDITORS' WISHLIST
in case you're lacking inspiration or don't know which of your existing works to send in, here are some moods, themes, and more that the editors would love to see:
𖥔⋅ feeling lost/not knowing what you want
𖥔⋅ work written during or about a time where you were absolutely losing it.
𖥔⋅ and on that note, send in work that's fucked up in one way or another. tell me about terrible things you've done and felt and witnessed and imagined.
𖥔⋅ body imagery! nature imagery!
𖥔⋅ poetry that lets loose! refined, tightly controlled wording is amazing, but poetry that sucks you right in and doesn't apologize is too few and far between
EDITORS' WISHLIST (CONT.)
𖥔⋅ your darkest fears/shames that you'd never dare to whisper in the ears of anyone around you; the bitter and the ugly emotions that come out at 3 a.m. that you would never admit
𖥔⋅ letters to those in your life, words that you could never quite say to their faces
𖥔⋅ creepy forests + the convergence of the human and faerie worlds
𖥔⋅ what love means to you in all of its different forms
𖥔⋅ feelings reminiscent of driving a car with the windows down, through a dilapidated tunnel with the lights flickering and clutching your friends' hands with a fierce type of love
**note that these are just for inspiration--if you have work that you think fits, but doesn't match any of these moods/themes/prompts, please still send it in!
